Elevator Pitch No.3

My pitch :    https://youtu.be/HE9NUp2uIdE

2. I think what stood out to me as important was to stand up and be a little louder. Although I am a soft spoken person I tried and I guess that has to count for something. I did stand up and I dressed professionally so that is a plus.

3. What I changed from the feedback was I stood up and I tried to be a little louder. I think that next time I could try and not talk so fast I tend to do that when I get nervous. All in all I had fun doing it and I  hope you guys like it!

  1. Gabriella,

Your concept makes sense and it's surprising this has not been implemented yet. It would make things a lot easier for people who frequently use boats. I like how you maintained eye contact with the camera and presented the pitch with confidence. I will suggest mentioning figures as I would like to know how much my initial investment would be to see if I would be able to make a return and estimate how long it would take.

  2. Gabriella,
I think you did a great job on your elevator speech! You delivered it really well and did a great job at showing your passion for your idea and having confidence. I really couldn't tell that you are a soft-spoken person and you really looked the part! I also think your idea is really cool, I have just come across your blog! Overall, great job!

  3. Hey Gabriella,
I like your idea a lot. I spent a lot of time on boats as a kid so I know just how convenient this would be. As for the delivery of your elevator speech, I think you did do a better job of speaking up, although it was still somewhat soft spoken, the idea of your pitch was clear.

  4. I think that you have a wonderful idea. This will come in handy for a lot of personal boaters all over the world and anything that has the potential to impact humanity positively from a worldwide standpoint is great. A lot of boatswain mates in the Navy would like this idea as well! I think you were very much in command during your presentation and articulated your ideas well.

Haha. I don't mean to be insensitive, but i really enjoyed that part. Overall I thought the pitch was really good though. You explained the product really well, and it seems like a useful idea. The camera angle was a power move, and felt like I was looking up at you. Definitely think it was a good idea to stand up. This pitch had more energy and was easy to listen to. Good job!

  6. Great job on your pitch, and your belief in the product showed through. I think this is still a great idea. I think you did a great job at speaking louder in this pitch. My only recommendation is what I always I have to watch for myself, which is the 'umm". Other than that, great job!

  8. Gabriella,
You sound and look much more confident this time around, good job! I agree with other comments that standing up was a great change. You also didn't sound robotic or like you had memorized a script, but more like you were speaking from you knowledge and passion for your concept. Overall, great improvements and great pitch!
